Welcome to Decatur Jewelry & Pawn. We are excited to announce the rollout of our new Pawn
Implementation Plan, (PIP). We have found that some people who have never pawned anything before
are sometimes confused about the process so I wanted to explain it clearly. Hopefully, this will show
you how easy the process is.
A “pawn” is a short term loan on an item of value. Here’s how it works. Let’s say you are short on cash
and your paycheck is a week away, but you need cash now for an emergency. You can visit Decatur
Jewelry & Pawn and bring us an item of value. Our expert team will look your item over and determine
a value and we will loan you cash while we hold your item as collateral.

Gold & Silver Jewelry
High end Swiss made watches like Rolex, Movado, Breitling, Longines, etc.
Genuine Designer Handbags, such as Louis Vuitton, Coach, Dooney & Bourke
Apple products like Iphones, IPADS, Iwatches, etc.
Good Quality Guitars, Saxophones, Microphones, Amps, Speakers
Pistols, Revolvers, Shotguns and Rifles. Ammunition too
Televisions, Laptops, Chromebooks, Monitors, CD & DVD Players
High Quality Tools such as Dewalt, Porter Cable, Milwaukee, Craftsman, etc.
When you bring an item in listed above, we will loan you money based on the resale price of your
item(s). Your pawn (loan) will be for a one month (30 day) period. At the end of the month, you have
the option to pay the monthly finance charge and you can keep the item in pawn for another month.
Or, you can pay the loan amount + a small finance charge and pickup or “redeem” you item(s).
Yes, you can have more than one loan at a time. Yes, you can bring your item(s) back in again for
another pawn loan.
It’s that easy. The only thing you will need is a valid Government I.D. with a picture on it like a driver’s
license or state I.D.
Your social Security number is NOT needed, but we ask for the last 4 of it so we may identify you if you
call us to inquire about anything on your pawn ticket, like amount owed, due date, etc.
There is NO credit check and we DO NOT report to any credit bureau if you do not redeem your item.
We also will make private appointments with you upon request.
Currently, we are offering COVID-19 Relief loans. For a first time loan with us, your interest on your
pawn will only be 10% for the first month. We do loans from $10 to $10,000. For example, if you
borrow $100 from us, your payback in one month will only be $110.00. If you borrow $50, your payback
is only $55.00, etc.
